Bengals vs. Titans Props
Joe Burrow would be a strong candidate for prop bets. Here are his season averages:
- 187 yards passing per game
- 55.4 completion percentage
- 2 touchdown passes total on the season
Check the prop bet market closely. Expect Burrow to throw for more yards, have a higher percentage rate of completed passes, and more than one touchdown pass.
Bengals running back Joe Mixon is averaging only 60 yards per game. There could be some good value with a prop.
For the Titans, quarterback Ryan Tannehill has numbers similar to Burrow. Tannehill has completed 59 percent of his passes for 548 yards (182 yards per game). He has only one touchdown pass. The Bengals have the NFL’s 12th-best pass defense and Tannehill just hasn’t been impressive this season.
Even Titans’ extraordinary running back Derrick Henry only has 163 yards on 51 carries, a 3.2 yards per attempt. There might be some value here because Henry is capable of a 100-yard game every Sunday.
Bengals vs. Titans Analysis and Prediction
This is an important game for both teams as the winner will get to .500 and the loser will sink to 1-3 and damage their playoff hopes.
Joe Burrow has been bothered by a strained right calf but he played well in Cincinnati’s victory over the Rams. Burrow was 26-of-49 passing for 259 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.
If Burrow’s health continues to improve, the Bengals are a more formidable team and difficult to contain.
Cincinnati’s defense was dominant against the visiting Rams with six sacks. The Bengals held the Rams to one touchdown on four red-zone possessions. Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson had two interceptions.
The Titans’ offense was squashed by Cleveland’s defense. The Browns rushed for only 26 yards and had only 104 passing yards.
This is an important game for both teams as the winner will get to .500 and the loser will sink to 1-3 and damage their playoff hopes. The Titans’ defense couldn’t stop Cleveland quarterback Deshaun Watson, who completed 27-of-33 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. When healthy, Burrow is on a tier above Watson.
The Bengals have Super Bowl aspirations while the Titans are trying to save their season. Despite the Titans’ desperation, the Bengals look like the stronger play to win and cover the spread
