NFL Sunday Games To Bet On
Week 8 of the 2023-24 season is here, and there are plenty of games to bet on this Sunday. Here are three highlights on the NFL Sunday slate.
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
The 3-4 Minnesota Vikings are second in the NFC North, and the Packers trail in third at 2-4 (my precious Chicago Bears perpetually enjoy the last-place position in the division). The Packers have floundered with Jordan Love behind center after losing Aaron Rodgers to the Jets (who then lost him to a season-ending injury).
And despite a losing record, the Vikings seem to be on the up-and-up. Two weeks back, they put the Bears to bed in a 6-point victory. Last week, they took down the seemingly unstoppable 49ers in a 22-17 surprise win. Considering the team’s momentum, I don’t expect the Packers to slow Minnesota down.
Los Angeles Rams at Dallas Cowboys
The Rams travel to Dallas this Sunday to take on the 4-2 Cowboys. Of the Cowboys’ two losses, one feels like a fluke (a 28-16 disappointment against the Cardinals) and one came at the hands of a certifiable juggernaut (a 42-10 defeat by the 49ers). BetMGM and other sportsbooks generally favor the Cowboys here. The moneyline on the Rams has some value if you think this Stafford-led team can take down Dallas.
Otherwise, take a look at the Rams spread. The Cowboys have doled out their fair share of blowouts this season, but they were mostly against ailing teams. The Rams could very well keep things close enough to cover with a +6.5-point advantage.
New York Jets at New York Giants
Sure, Buffalo continues to showcase its strength as a team, but other New York squads are struggling to find their footing this season. Barring any loyalty to one of these two teams, this isn’t a game we imagine most will watch with bated breath.
