This week I headed out for Monday Night Football with the guys. I’m always looking for a new place to try and we ended up at The Blind Pig located at 4515 Dean Martin Drive, which is at Panorama Towers.
This is a great spot to hit before or after spending time on the Strip. When you walk in, the décor in the restaurant is very nice with a brick design and TV’s everywhere in the bar area, so no matter if you are sitting at the bar or at a table you will have a TV right in front of you to watch the game.
Because it was Monday Night Football we were there during Happy Hour and they have great specials. Domestic beers are $3 and Imports go for $4. They also have $4 shots and well drink specials.
When watching football you are going to need food and their Happy Hour food specials are pretty hard to beat. All the appetizers on the menu are 50% off.
Since we had the crew we ordered several different items for the table to share. We had their Garlic Cheese Bread, which is just $3.50 at happy hour. If you like garlic and cheese you’ll love it. We also had an order of Fried Mozzarella Wedges and the fresh Buffalo Mozzarella Caprese. Both were just $4.50 during happy hour and very good. The star of the show for us, was the wings. During Happy Hour you get an order of 10 for just $5. You can order 30 wings for $12.50 at happy hour.
On a separate visit I tried their Stromboli, which was loaded with ham, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. It was very good as at many places they skimp on the fillings and you’re eating mostly dough. Not with this one as it was very good and very filling for $8.99. My buddy had the B.P. Burger and fries. The burger was huge and topped with Gruyere cheese, bacon, arugula and a garlic aioli.
Not only does The Blind Pig offer a great selection of bar food items but a full dinner menu, which is large and very diverse. They have a full menu of pasta dishes. The waitress told me the Lobster Ravioli in a creamy vodka sauce is to die for. I’ll be trying that very soon.
She also said her dad comes into The Blind Pig a lot and he always gets the Sausage & Peppers Feast. Grilled sausage smothered with peppers and onions with red “gravy.” How could you go wrong?
They have steaks and seafood on the menu as well so literally there is something for everyone. On Saturday nights they offer a Prime Rib special served with soup or salad, a baked potato and sautéed spinach for $29.99.
The Blind Pig is a great place to chill and catch a game with the guys or to take your special someone for dinner. I give the Blind Pig a rating of 3.75 Forks.
