It’s Week 6 of the NFL season and this week’s stop on my 2019 Las Vegas Sports Bar World Tour brought me to Blue Diamond Saloon, located at 6935 Blue Diamond Road.

It’s your typical neighborhood bar as they have a pool table, shuffle board game and a fantastic TV set up for watching your favorite teams. If you are a Kansas City Chiefs fan you will love this place as it’s a Chiefs bar so you can watch and root with other Kansas City fans.

At the bar there are several TV’s to watch while you enjoy a cold beverage and play Video Poker. What I really like though about the TV setup is the center area that has several tables in the middle of the bar. There is a big video wall that has a big flat screen TV in the middle and four other TV’s, two on each side of the big TV. So you are constantly looking straight at five games at once.

Blue Diamond Saloon doesn’t operate the kitchen themselves, but they do lease the space out to Naked City Pizza. Although it’s not a big menu, it has everything you need for watching the games.

Obviously Naked City Pizza has pizza, but not just any pizza. We are talking some of the best pizza in Las Vegas. They have several specialty pizzas and one of them is famous as it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The “Guinea Pie” was featured on the show and comes with white sauce, spinach, Grandma’s meatballs, mozzarella and ricotta cheese.

There are 16 different specialty pizzas to choose from and you can always build your own pizza with all your favorite toppings. The pizzas come in two sizes — quarter sheet or half sheet. The quarter sheet is six square slices of pizza. Their pizzas are very good and filling and are reasonably priced.

You can’t watch football without having wings and Naked City Pizza has chicken wings and chicken fingers. They have 13 different sauces and both are served with fresh cut fries. You can get 10 wings and fries for $13.95.

The wings were good and the fries were great. In fact you can order specialty fries as they have nine different specialty fries, including Buffalo Chicken Fries that have chopped Buffalo Chicken pieces, blue cheese and mozzarella over top the fries. Trust me, you are going to like their fries.

If you have a sweet tooth, check out their Cannolis as you get three for $5.95. Given the TV set up, great pizza and wings and cold brews, I give Blue Diamond Saloon a Rating of 3.50 Forks.
