The wildly inventive Blue Men
will make some innovative changes to their Las Vegas production when they open
at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. The Venetian is custom-building a brand new
1,750-seat theatre for Blue Man Group.

“We are very excited to
bring Blue Man Group to The Venetian. It is one of the most creative and
innovative shows ever produced and it is immensely popular across the
world,” said Sheldon G. Adelson, chairman of the board of Las Vegas Sands
Inc., parent company of The Venetian. “The Venetian already offers the
world’s finest art, dining, shopping and spa experience under one roof, and
now, with the addition of Blue Man Group and the recently announced musical
production of The Phantom of the Opera, we will offer our guests one of the top
entertainment destinations in Las Vegas.”

Blue Man Group at the Luxor
opened in March 2000 and will continue its record-breaking run through Sept. 15,
2005. The Blue Men have been embraced by the Las Vegas community and are an
integral part of Las Vegas’s lively entertainment and cultural scene, a
favorite with tourists and locals alike.

Matt Goldman, one of Blue Man
Group’s founders, said, “Our relationship with Luxor and Mandalay Resort
Group has been harmonious and rewarding. At first glance, the idea of Blue Man
performing in Las Vegas seemed unimaginable but Luxor and Blue Man Group’s
combined imaginations created a show that changed the face of Vegas. We will
always be grateful for their commitment to us.”

“We’re thrilled that The
Venetian is custom-building a theatre for us,” adds Blue Man co-founder,
Chris Wink. “It’s a great opportunity for us to retool our show to
accommodate the new space, incorporate the latest technology and toss in a few
surprises.”

Founded by long-time friends Matt
Goldman, Phil Stanton and Chris Wink in 1987, the critically acclaimed Blue Man
Group creates experiences that defy categorization. They are best known for
multimedia performances that feature three bald and blue characters who take the
audience on a journey that is funny, intelligent and visually stunning.

Blue Man Group’s theatrical
productions run concurrently in New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas and Berlin,
and Blue Man Group applies its vision, philosophies and aesthetic to a variety
of media.
