After a one-week hiatus from my 2019 Las Vegas Sports Bar World Tour I’m back and we visited one of the more popular hometown bars as we went to Born and Raised located at 7260 S. Cimarron Road.
Born and Raised has other locations as well but this location is the closest to where I live. This is a great place to go to watch games. With their big video wall, you will be sure to see any game you want. Born and Raised is also an official Golden Knights bar so it’s always jumping when the Knights play.

Born and Raised doesn’t serve your typical bar food as they have an extensive menu with lots of great options during Happy Hour. Living on the West Coast is great because we are right in the middle of Happy Hour for those weekday football games. During Happy Hour all sliders and bar bites are just $6. They have $3.50 draft beer specials and $4.50 well drink specials as well. Happy Hour is from 3-6 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
For me, I’m all about the food and there are many tasty items to pick from. Let’s start with the sliders as Born and Raised has 16 different sliders and you get 2 sliders per order. Some of my favorites are the Lobster Roll, The Prime Rib Dip, Cowboy Classic and the BBQ Pulled Pork.
I’m a big fan of several of the items on the Bar Bites menu. If you like French Fries and gravy, try the Skirt Steak Poutine as you get Fries loaded with Skirt Steak, Provolone and gravy. They have a big selection of chicken wing sauces as you can choose from eight different flavors and at just $6 during Happy Hour you can’t beat the price.
Check out their WTF (Weekly Taco Feature) Tacos. Ask your server what this week’s featured Taco is.
If you’re going to sit in the bar area, there are TV’s everywhere to watch the games, especially if you are sitting in the booths facing the bar. The Lounge side has a giant video wall that has several different screens to watch up to 14 games at one time.
Born and Raised is a great place to watch games and grab a bite to eat. I give it 3.50 Forks.
