As we continue our 2019 Las Vegas Sports Bar World Tour, this week’s stop brings us to Bourbon Street Sports Bar.

There are many locations all over the Las Vegas valley and I have been to four or five different locations with all of them set up the same way. Flat out, Bourbon Street’s setup is as close to a Las Vegas sportsbook as you can get.

The video wall is absolutely amazing as you can watch every game looking straight ahead at one wall. The screens can either be three giant screens or broken into two or four screens in each section, depending how many games are going on at that particular time.

There is also a row of TV’s along the bottom of the video wall. They have several tables to sit and watch the games and if you get there early you can grab one of the leather couches or love seats. If you snag one of the couches you will feel like you are sitting at home in your own dream Man Cave.

I have been to most of the sports bars in town and no one comes close to the viewing experience.

If you are watching games you are going to want to be having some cold beverages and food. Let’s start with the drinks. Bourbon Street has a full bar along with a slew of frozen cocktails. The biggest thing is the fact that all the drinks are very reasonably priced, unlike the bars on the Strip that jack the prices up for the privilege of sitting and watching a game in their bar.

Bourbon Street has food as well. The theme at Bourbon Street is Bayou Country, so the menu has several Cajun favorites. One of the appetizers is Bayou Nuggets which are farm-raised Alligator bites lightly fried and served with honey mustard sauce for dipping. They also have Cajun Gumbo as well as Red Beans and Rice.

One of my favorite sandwiches is the French Quarter Muffuletta. This sandwich has mortadella, salami, ham and provolone cheese. I also like their Fried Catfish sandwich. It’s a simple sandwich but good. They have over a dozen different sandwiches all priced at $7 each.

If you are hanging out with your friends you can shoot a game of pool or challenge your friends to shooting hoops or playing a video game. It’s a great place to just hang out and chill. You receive one token for every dollar you spend on food or drink. The tokens are used to play the games. If you want to play more serious games, there are video poker machines located in the bar area.

This is the best off-Strip place for watching games and hanging out with your friends. I give Bourbon Street Sports Bars a Rating of 3.75 Forks.
