Welcome to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. The two teams with a first-round bye are fresh and ready for bouts with last week’s victors. Eight teams remain in the hunt for Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas.
Gaming Today has you covered with one of the best sports betting bonuses from Caesars Sportsbook, plus a sneak peek at tonight’s games.
Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code TODAY1000 Gets You Up to $1,000
New sports bettors at Caesars are treated to one of the best bonuses in the sportsbook business. Use our links and the Caesars Sportsbook promo code TODAY1000 for up to $1,000 in bonus bets. Here’s how it works.
Click one of the Play Now links throughout this article to get started at Caesars Sportsbook. After you sign up with the Caesars bonus code TODAY1000 (be sure to enter it during the sign-up process), you can make your first deposit From there, place your first wager. This is where the bonus kicks in. If you place your first bet and it loses, you will get bonus bets equal to the amount of that wager.
For example, let’s say you deposit $500 and bet it all on the Texans to win. If they lose, you’ll receive $500 from Caesars, and the bonus will expire. The bonus is flexible, in that the amount of your first bet applies. Casual or new bettors can still claim the bonus without breaking the bank, while seasoned bettors can bet big amounts and claim the bonus’ full potential.
Alternatively, if you place your first bet and it wins, you receive the winnings, and the bonus ends. In other words, the bonus is only rewarded on a losing first bet.
Finally, note that bonus bets work differently from real money wagers. If you place a bonus bet of $100 on odds of +200, you will receive $200 if you win. A real money wager of the same odds and amount would pay $300 (the winnings plus your original bet)
NFL Divisional Round Saturday Games to Bet on at Caesars Sportsbook
Eight teams remain, and four will play this evening to narrow the field. Here are the two games you can bet on tonight.
Houston Texans vs Baltimore Ravens
What a rookie year for CJ Stroud. The Texans QB led the team to a playoff berth and a first-round victory. Now, though, the Texans face the Baltimore Ravens. This beast of a Baltimore team is helmed by Lamar Jackson. Gus Edwards is in the backfield, and rookie wideout Zay Flowers has proven to have sticky hands when Jackson throws him the ball. If you’re reading this and getting worried about the Texans’ chances, you’re right to feel that way. Baltimore waltzed through the 2023-24 season, demolishing the best teams along the way. A whopping 56-19 victory over the Dolphins two weeks before the postseason secured Baltimore its playoff bye, and I expect the team to show us what it’s made of tonight.
I’d stick to prop bets here (I like Zay Flowers to score a TD) or go for the Over, which is currently set at 43.5 (Best Live Odds: ). Both Baltimore and Houston can score touchdowns even in a high-stakes setting. Look for an electric matchup to fuel these two teams.
Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers
Meanwhile, in the NFC, we have something of a Cinderella story brewing in Wisconsin. Absent legacy QB Aaron Rodgers, nobody expected the Packers to be contenders this year (especially this Bears fan). But Jordan Love turned it out, earning Green Bay a playoff appearance and a first-round upset over the Dallas Cowboys during the Wild Card round.
San Francisco undoubtedly wishes to quash Green Bay’s upward trajectory, and the team has all the tools to do it. The offensive superfecta of RB Christian McCaffrey, WR Deebo Samuel, WR Brandon Aiyuk, and TE George Kittle is united by Brock Purdy behind center. Frankly, I expect this one to be a blowout. The 49ers moneyline is virtually valueless at -455 (Best Live Odds: ), but the point spread is enticing, even at -9.5 (Best Live Odds: ) for the 49ers. Even the props are losing value in the lead-up to the game. McCaffrey anytime TD scorer odds are -500 (Best Live Odds: ) at Caesars. However, there’s still plenty of value in Deebo Samuel at -137 (Best Live Odds: ) or George Kittle at +105 (Best Live Odds: ).
For Packers fans, the spread is a risky but serviceable bet tonight, and Aaron Jones is your best option for props.
