The Panthers and the Bears have both had subpar seasons to date. Both teams are at the bottom of their respective conference divisions, with mostly just pride to play for the rest of the season. Yet, there is plenty to look forward to from a betting standpoint, especially with Caesars’ bonus bet, which covers you for your first bet if it loses (up to $1,000).

Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code TODAY1000 — Up to $1,000

Caesars has gained immense popularity in the last few years as a reputed sports betting app with better odds and ease of use. However, their fantastic opening offers to attract new bettors are a great selling point.

Caesars is offering new bettors a $1,000 return in the form of bet credits on their first wager if it loses, which can be used on this week’s Thursday Night Football game.

Use our Caesars promo code link (TODAY1000) to initiate your signup process. It follows a fairly straightforward procedure, including entering your details, such as name, email address, and personal identification.

At this point, you will be asked to enter a promo code. After completing that step, you have several options, including deciding the amount you prefer to wager as your first bet. Based on that amount, Caesars will grant you a maximum of $1,000 in bet credits if you lose your first bet.

You could also opt to deposit a smaller amount. Caesars will match that losing amount in free bet credits if you lose that. For example, you could wager $2,000 on the Panthers to beat the Bears. If the Panthers lose, you will receive $1,000 in free bets. If you bet $300 on the Panthers, Caesars will match that amount in free bet credits if Carolina loses.

Of course, if your first bet wins, you keep that entire amount you win. That means you can choose your TNF bet strategically, with a higher-risk proposition potentially providing the most value. Here are some betting options and a game preview for your consideration.

Thursday Night Football Preview: Panthers vs Bears

Two teams struggling for form and confidence face each other in a battle for pride. The Panthers are 1-7 and languishing at the bottom of the NFC South. Carolina has been awful in the air, passing for just 187 yards per game, which ranks them 27th in the NFL. On the ground, the Panthers are rushing an average of 96 yards, another poor offensive metric.

Their defensive stats paint a similar picture, with an average of 28.3 points conceded per game, which puts them 31st in the league. It is hardly surprising, therefore, that the Panthers are certain underdogs.

The Bears are not much different, with a 2-7 record, which puts them at the bottom of the NFC North. After starting the season with four straight losses, the Bears haven’t had much going for them. On the bright side, their two wins have been by massive margins – 40-20 against Washington and 30-12 against Las Vegas.

Also, the Bears have one of the better running games in the NFL, averaging 135.3 yards on the ground. This is fourth in the league, led by D’Onta Foreman’s 287 yards on 65 carries.

This one does look like one for the over, considering both teams have struggled on defense. With a handicap of about 40 points for the game, you would think neither of these teams has much left in the tank.

The Bears concede an average of 26.9 points per game, which doesn’t do much for their confidence. That is certainly an area that the Panthers could exploit if they can find some rhythm and momentum in their passing game, which isn’t implausible at this stage of the season.
