It is hard to imagine anyone who could have predicted this year’s turn of events, but society made it to the month of July.

For Las Vegas, this is typically the heart of the summer travel season. However, this summer is unique.

While Las Vegas operates in the middle of a pandemic, casinos are shelling out “Staycation” packages and other incentives that are not normally available during the summer season.

When speaking on the tourism impact surrounding Las Vegas’ reopening, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority CEO Steve Hill said: “The reopening of Las Vegas was stronger than we expected. Before the end of July properties accounting for 125,000 total local guest rooms are expected to be open,”

Yet numerous hotel packages still remain available for locals to take advantage of. It’s good to note that COVID-19’s fluidity can change everything in a short period of time, but for the time being, here’s a list of hotel offerings that may make you consider taking a “Staycation.”
