After committing the biggest choke job in NFL history last week (33 points to the Minnesota Vikings), the Indianapolis Colts (4-9-1 straight up, 6-8 against the spread) host the Los Angeles Chargers (8-6 SU, 8-5-1 ATS) in a very meaningful game for the latter team.
The Bolts can clinch a playoff spot with a win on Monday Night Football, but in order for them to do that, their players are going to have to play better than expected. Here are a few player props and anytime touchdown scorer bets for Monday night’s contest, including Nick Foles to fall short in his 2022 debut and Austin Ekeler to reach the end zone.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Indianapolis Colts MNF Odds
The Chargers (between -200 and -225 on the moneyline as of Monday morning) are 4-point road favorites against a Colts team that has lost three straight contests and seven of its last eight. Bettors can grab the underdog with odds ranging from +165 and +185.
Indianapolis is 5-2 as the underdog and 2-0 as the home underdog this season. Los Angeles, on the other hand, is 5-2 on the road and 3-1 as the away favorite.
84% of moneyline tickets and 77% of spread tickets at DraftKings have been placed on the Chargers.
The Over/Under total for this all-AFC primetime matchup is set at 45.5 points on legal US sports betting apps.

Player Props, TD Scorer Bets for Week 16 MNF
Austin Ekeler Anytime TD Scorer (-115, Caesars)
Ekeler’s TD price ranges widely across the sports betting market, so it may not be the best value depending where you’re shopping. However, Caesars offers a steal of a price at -115.

One of the most versatile skill position players in the league has scored at least one touchdown in nine of his last 11 outings, and is tied for the league lead with 14 touchdowns.
Ekeler now gets matched up against a Colts defense that gives up the sixth most touchdowns (2.8 per game). His ability to score through the air and on the ground makes him a match made in hell for Indy.

Nick Foles Under 229.5 Passing Yards (-110, BetMGM)
After Matt Ryan’s historic meltdown last week, head coach Jeff Saturday has decided to hang it up for his stale quarterback and roll with Nick Foles, who hasn’t thrown a single pass all year. We can’t imagine he has much chemistry with his receivers.
The man who once pulled off the “Philly Special” has been riding the bench all season, and he now gets thrown into an unfavorable matchup against a Chargers pass defense that is playing its best football of the season right now.
Zack Moss Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-113, FanDuel)
There’s been a changing of the guard in Indianapolis. With Jonathan Taylor exiting the Colts’ last game and getting shut down for the rest of the season, the team has turned to Zack Moss as its new starting running back.
Moss had a fine showing against the Vikings in his first start of 2022, and he now gets a dreamy matchup against a Chargers run defense that allows the most yards per rush attempt (5.5) and the second most yards per game (128.3) to running backs.
Los Angeles has also given up 56-plus yards rushing to a running back in every game but one this season. With Moss out-carrying Deon Jackson 24-13 last week, the former will see the majority of carries again in Week 16, which should help him hit the Over with ease.
