The resurgent Kansas City Chiefs will be on the road to face the struggling Green Bay Packers in the NFL’s blockbuster Week 13 Sunday Night Football matchup. Led by one of the best offenses in the league, the Chiefs have surged up to 8-3 for the season, comfortably leading the AFC West.
The Packers, on the other hand, have work to do. They have made some progress towards that goal with three wins in their last four games but so poor was their start to the season that the Packers are still below .500, currently at 5-6 for the season.

Chiefs vs Packers Player Props
There are plenty of player props to consider for this game, especially with several mismatches across the gridiron.
Jordan Love: Under
Let’s break this prop bet down statistically. Love has thrown for 2,599 passing yards with 19 touchdowns, which ranks seventh in the NFL. That isn’t bad if taken at face value. However, he has 10 interceptions, a completion rate of 60%, and an average of 236.3 yards per game in the air.
In this game, he will have to break down one of the best defenses in the NFL, who have conceded just 16.5 points per game, which is third in the league. The Chiefs have conceded just 181 points in total this season. Love will have to find a way past one of the strongest defenses in the NFL, which should result in him going under 230 yards in the air in this one.
Chiefs vs Packers Analysis and Prediction
The Chiefs came out with power and breezed past the Las Vegas Raiders 31-17 in their previous game. Yet, their talisman quarterback doesn’t think they have been at their best. “We still have stuff to learn from this game,” Mahomes said. “There were some situations where we didn’t execute at a high enough offensive level, but we obviously took a step in a positive direction. Now it’s just continuing to do that throughout the rest of the season.”
The Chiefs have been in tearaway form this year defensively, too. They conceded 24 or fewer points for the 11th straight game against the Raiders. Their tally of 16.5 points conceded per game is third-best in the league. Mahomes is in sterling form, having thrown for 2,917 yards and 21 touchdowns. There are very few issues with this Chiefs unit, and the Packers will plausibly be on the receiving side of that.
The Packers, however, have some issues to address. Momentum may not be one of those considering they have won three of their last four games. Their stand-in quarterback Love is starting to find his feet too: “I feel like it’s just a comfort. Feeling more comfortable in the pocket,” Love said. “Getting more reps, getting more reps and more comfortable with my reads, understanding what the defense is doing, where I need to go with the ball and just growing and learning every rep I get. Guys are just feeling more comfortable in the system, understanding our roles and now we’re just going out there and playing, executing the plays.”
Despite some strong trends in the right direction for the Packers, it does seem like they have too much work to do against one of the best teams in the league on both ends of the gridiron. The odds are in favor of the Chiefs, and it may not be prudent to bet against them at this stage.
