The Los Angeles Clippers have found some momentum after a slow start to their season. They have now won three of their last four games to the point they have returned to .500 for the season, presently at 10-10.

It has taken a while but the Clippers are now starting to find some fluency in their ball movement since James Harden arrived. Paul George is leading the team’s scoring with 23.5 points per game. He continued his fine run of form with 25 points to help the Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 111-102 in their previous game.

“To bounce back and beat Sacramento, beat Golden State the other night, it’s coming,” Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said. “I give those guys for just staying patient. I think we found who we are and how we want to play. Tonight was a big step in the right direction.”

The Jazz, on the other hand, have gone the other way, losing three of their last four games. At this point of the season, they are winning one in every three games, which is always a problem early in the season.

In their previous game, the Jazz were handed a 50-point defeat by the Dallas Mavericks. That won’t do much for their confidence, especially against a team that can move the ball quite quickly, like the Clippers.

“That was an absolutely horrendous performance,” Jazz coach Will Hardy said. “It seemed like the Mavericks were moving at a different pace than we were from start to finish.”

Clippers vs Jazz Best Props

There are several strong options for player props for this game at BetMGM. In this section, we will take a look at some of the best to consider.

Paul George Over 23.5 Points (Best Live Odds: )

George has hit some shooting rhythm this season. He is one of those players that can be red-hot when there is fluency in his ball movement. He has a strong three-point game and can also push the ball in the paint in isolation plays. He is averaging 23.5 points this season on 44% from the field in 35.7 minutes per game. Against a Jazz defense that has struggled, George should hit the Over in this one.

Ivica Zubac Over 8.5 Rebounds (Best Live Odds: )

Zubac has been a pivotal defensive weapon this season for the Clippers. He is leading most of the team’s defensive metrics, including rebounds per game (9) and blocks (1.5). Jazz’s shooting has been subpar this season. If that continues on Friday, you can expect Zubac to clean up several boards. He is averaging about 25 minutes per game this season and should be able to pick up nine boards in that timeframe against a struggling Jazz team.

James Harden Under 7.5 Assists (Best Live Odds: )

Harden has been in strong form this season, bringing some much-needed fluency to his team’s movement. However, this handicap seems a bit steep, even for a struggling Jazz defense. Harden is averaging 6.7 assists per game, which he will certainly come close to but there is at least some doubt whether he will be able to rack up eight or more. Strategically, the Under is a strong option.
