Race 1

$16k claimers go a flat mile on the dirt. No. 1 Bluegrass Bronco gets his second start off the O’Neill claim and Prat sticks, he will try and take this gelding wire-to-wire. No. 5 L ’s Choice drops back to the level he was claimed and the level off a good second on this track, he fits here and could get a good trip if able to sit back off all the early speed. 1-5

Race 2

$20k claimers go six furlongs. No. 6 Glacken Too is the one to beat here albeit at a short price on the Peter Miller drop down but we note that Miller’s go to jock is not onboard today but he does get the very capable Martin Pedroza. No. 3 Malibu Mogul is the speed and will try to wire them. 6**-3

Race 3

Starter allowance fillies and mares go a flat mile on the dirt. Trainer Rafael Becerra sends out the uncoupled entry of No. 2 Midnight Candy who is in good form and has a big last work and No. 7 Light Striker on the drop down. No. 4 Margie’s Minute exits the same race as the Light Striker and looks tough with these. 4**-2-7

Race 4

They go sprinting five furlongs on the grass. No. 1 Richard’s Boy has finished second in his last four turf sprints including one on this course but he does own a win here at the distance, this is his race to lose. No. 4 Eddie Haskell is a perfect 2 for 2 here at this five furlong distance and is back off the win in just 13 days, Eddie must be feeling his oats. No. 5 Distinctiv Passion is the speed and has two wins a second and a third here at this five furlong turf distance, Mike Smith says he will try and take him wire-to-wire.

Exacta box 1-4-5

Race 5

Maiden 2yo fillies go a flat mile on the dirt. No. 1 Mistressofthenight comes off a troubled trip and gets the cozy rail today, she has been well bet in all three of her races. No. 6 Spooky Woods gets the stretchout by Hollendorfer after losing at .90 cents on the dollar in her second start after losing at 7/5 in her first start, she is bred to go long. 1-6

Race 6

Very soft group of 2yo fillies for the Durante and we hope the winner doesn’t win by a nose! No. 3 Mo’vette ran like a “vet” in her last start here on the 11th winning going away in a freakish effort. No. 7 How About Zero has done little wrong in her three starts and may like the grass. No. 8 With Honors is a perfect 2 for 2 on this grass course and gets some big time class relief and a big last work. No. 11 Miss Sugars comes off a very troubled trip in the Surfer Girl at Santa Anita and now gets her second start in the states. No. 12 Happy Mesa also ran in the Surfer Girl finishing second and No. 13 La Force also exits the race finishing 3rd. In what is a very wide open race we will side with No. 8 With Honors off her record on this course. 8**

Race 7

More maiden 2yo fillies, this time they travel 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Deliteful Lady is out of the dam Bird Chatter who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. No. 4 Unique Bella was bet like a champ in her first start going off at .30 cents on the dollar, she finished second after breaking slow, she has been working a hole in the wind and will most likely be odds on once again. No. 5 Lady Mamba is out of the dam Siren Serenade who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters. No. 7 Mannerly showed big early speed in her one start and gets Kent D today, she looks the main danger to the chalk in here. No. 8 Arrowsphere ran good despite trouble in her one start and will move forward. 4-7 with 1-5-8 in tri’s

Race 8

No. 3 Om exits our HTW list off a huge effort in the BC turf sprint a race in which he was best but lost by a nostril after getting left at the gate. No. 4 Vyjack gets back on the grass and will go much better today. No. 7 Ring Weekend is exiting back to back Grade I races and just may like it here. 3**-7-4

Race 9

Statebred $50k 2yo maiden claimers go six furlongs. No. 2 Blow My Mind is a first timer out of the dam Double Punch who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters, this trainer can strike with a first timer. No. 4 One I’m Running To is the one to beat off his last two starts at this level. We must take note when Kent D rides in the last race and he gets on No. 5 Sawbuck who has a big last work, he showed speed when running with One I’m Running To in his last start, we will key the 4 and 5 in the late pick four and bet on at least a sawbuck on No. 5. 5**-4-2
