2yo maidens go a mile on the grass, Javier Castellano gets on No. 1 Cedar Rapids for Papa Mandella, this one has been knocking on the door. No. 2 Ice Kat exits our HTW list off a neck loss here at this turf distance last out. Irad gets on No. 4 Eaglemaker who exits the same race as Ice Kat. 1-2-4

20k optional claiming fillies and mares go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 4 Late ‘n Left has been very popular at the claim box as she has been claimer out of three of her four last starts, she comes off a big win and gets Irad. No. 5 Papa Mambo looks the speed and if the track is playing to early speed this one could go wire-to-wire. 4-5

Optional claiming fillies and mares this time go 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 1 Midnight Swinger gets back to going long on the grass and Castellano says he will ride. No. 8 Sutton’s Smile exits our HTW list and gets the services of Florent Geroux riding for D’Amato. No. 9 Jeremy’s Legacy gets some class relief and the hot riding Van Dyke who is a very good turf rider gets the call. Irad Ortiz Jr. gets on the speedy No. 10 Untouchable U for Richard Baltas. No. 12 Lady Pamela looked good last out when breaking her maiden at this exact distance on the grass when exiting our HTW list. 1-8-9-12

Race 6

16k claiming fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Buzzer Beater gets her first start off the O’Neill claim and gets Van Dyke, she will be making a big late run. No. 7 Cecile’s Diamond looks perfectly spotted off the wire-to-wire win here on the 19th of November when breaking her maiden. 3-7

No. 2 Stays in Vegas just missed here in the Grade I Del Mar Oaks one race back, Chad Brown brings in No. 4 Zindaya with Castellano, she won the Grade II Goldikova at Santa Anita in her last start with Javier riding. Irad gets on the other Chad Brown runner No. 6 Mexican Gold and Chad also sends out No. 7 Roca Rojo with Geroux riding and she exits the same race as Mexican Gold. Not to slight JR Velazquez well he will ride once again the James Toner very tough filly No. 11 Time and Motion who just won the Grade I Queen Elizabeth at Keeneland when beating Stays in Vegas, she has won five of her last six starts with a second. Edgar Prado comes in with the Graham Motion runner No. 12 Miss Temple City who ran in the BC Mile Turf. This is one tough race, look for the best price. 2-4-6-7-11-12

Race 8

We gets $62,500 optional claimers going 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 St. Joe Bay just missed at this level in his last race and his last win came here, Irad gets on No. 2 Who’s Out for Hollendorfer and this one just ran second at this level last out. Bob Baffert finally shows up on closing day and he sends out the big dropper No. 5 Jazzy Times the chalk and the speed, they will need to run him down. Castellano gets on No. 6 The Gomper who gets back to the level and surface of his nose loss. 1-2-5-6

Race 9

2yo maidens go a mile on the grass, Gary Stevens sticks around to ride the last race on No. 1 Kona Dreams who lost by a nostril one back going a mile on the grass, he ran against Ice Kat in his last start so if he runs good upgrade this ones chances, Mike Smith also will stick around to ride in the last race as he gets on No. 5 Marchtothemusic in a huge rider upgrade for Hollendorfer and this one also exits a key race. 1-5
