DEL MAR

Race 1

No. 7 Kiss At Midnight loves this track as she has won 2 of 3 starts here with a second and she also loves this 7 furlong distance winning 3 of 6. Bejarano gets back on today and with the drop on class she looks all the winner. No. 6 Stealth Drone also drops for Hollendorfer and is the main danger. 7**-6

Race 2

No. 3 St. Reno is the lone speed but here at Del Mar we never know if the speed will be holding, if not No. 8 Hackleton or No. 10 He’saruler could upset the applecart. 3-8-10

Race 3

No. 7 Salsita has won 3 of 6 here on the grass and looks ready to fire second off the Hollendorfer claim. No. 8 Speak Up Sailor has the good Hess/Desormeaux connections and Kent can ride this grass course. No. 9 Miz Strawberry Dee moves into the barn of Richard Baltas, look out! 7-8-9

Exacta box 7-8-9

Race 4

Cal bred maiden fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs in what is a very wide open race in the pick five. No. 6 Blue Over You comes off the layoff for Spawr and has a nice last work, we look for a big effort today. No. 12 Laynee is in from the Gate for a top Northern Cal trainer and gets the services of Bejarano. 6-12

Race 5

The late pick five doesn’t get any easier as we get cal bred $50k maiden 2yo fillies going 5-1/2 furlongs, this calls for the all button but we will play smaller using No. 7 Native Jaylo a Jeff Bonde dropper and No. 8 Sapphire Kid who exits the same race and is a Peter Miller dropper who gets Prat. 7-8 (all).

Race 6

They go 1-3/8 on the grass. No. 8 It’s The Ice looks very tough in here off his near miss last out. No. 9 Unapologetic exits our HTW list and gets Mike Smith in a rare ride for Bill Spawr. 8-9

Race 7

THE $100K GRADE 3 COUGAR II AT 1-1/2

No. 3 Big John B is a distance specialist and is 1 for 1 here at Del Mar on the dirt. No. 6 Hard Aces exits the same last race. 3-6

Race 8

The day ends with fillies and mares going a mile on the grass. No. 4 Looking At Thelake is our play of the week in GamingToday, bet her to cash. No. 10 Table for Three looks the main danger. 4**-10

Exacta box 4-10 and win and place 4
