Race 2

Maiden 2yo fillies go a mile on the dirt. No. 1 Majestic Authority stretches out and gets on the grass for team Baltas and Van Dyke. Team Desormeaux has No. 4 Stylitude on the stretchout, she should love it. No. 5 Gia Lula looks the one to beat off her last going this mile turf distance running a solid 3rd. Baltas also sends out No. 6 Into Glamour on the stretchout and she exits a good race. 1-4-5-6

Race 3

Baltas sending all his guns today as he sends out No. 1 Cynthiana in this 1-1/16 turf route for 3yo fillies, she has a big last work. Baltas also sends out No. 5 Aura Rose off a nice win at a mile on the grass on this course last out. D’Amato sends out the speedy No. 7 Spin Me a Kiss who they will all need to catch. No. 9 November Tale comes off a good try here last out and is on the improve. 1-5-7-9

Race 4

Cal bred allowance runners go 6-1/2 on the dirt. No. 7 Mr Ability comes off the layoff for a sneaky trainer, he could be live at a price. No. 8 Coils Gold will get a super hot pace up front to make his late run. No. 6 Morgan S. won like a good thing first out of the box here on August 18th and can repeat if he can sit chilly off the hot pace. 8**-6-7

Race 5

Maiden 2yo go 6-1/2 on the dirt. No. 6 Bahamian will improve second out for Callaghan. No. 9 Solomini is a first time Baffert with Prat riding. No. 11 Afleet Ascent is stuck on the also list but will be a must use if he can draw in as Mike Smith will ride for Hollendorfer. He is out of the dam Skip Queen who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters and that last work says go. 6-9-11

Race 6

Optional $40k claimers go 1-1/8 on the grass. No. 4 Fishel comes off a nice turf win here last out and has a nice work since for new trainer Jose Moreno. No. 6 Spanish Hombre gets his first start off the Baltas claim and we note Bejarano who was on him last out for the win sticks. No. 11 Klondike Creek gets his second try here and looks set off that last work. 4-6-11

Race 7

THE $300K GRADE I DEL MAR DEBUNTANTE AT 7 FURLONGS

They paid $650k for No. 2 Moonshine Memories, she won like a good thing first out and will love the longer trip today. No. 3 Spectator won the Grade II Sorrento here and is looking to stay perfect. No. 4 Gas Station Sushi won at first asking when bet down to even money, they paid a cool $240k for her, she has a big last work. Mike Smith who was on Moonshine Memories opts to stick with No. 8 Poetic who also won like a good thing first out for Richard Mandella who is usually conservative with is young runners so he must really love this girl to put her here and Big money Mike must also love her, she will be our play

Maiden 2yo go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 St Patrick’s Day exits our HTW list as a $$$$$ play, he ran huge first out vs his barn mate the highly regarded Zater who we will see in the 2yo stakes race, Baffert wheels this colt back in just 13 days and gave him a nice five furlong work here on August 29th, he is reay to win by many, we will single. 1****

Race 9

THE 200K GRADE II JOHN C MABEE AT 1-1/8 ON THE GRASS

There are several in here that exit the Grade II Yellow Ribbon and  that is the race we will key on. No. 1 Hillhouse High gets her second off the layoff and Bejarano will ride for Baltas. No. 4 Cambodia the winner of the Yellow Ribbon has a big last work since. No. 6 Pretty Girl finished a fast closing second behind Cambodia. No. 11 Amboseli was the 3rd place finisher and was also making some ground up late. The stranger danger is No. 13 Goodyearforroses the barn mate of Hillhouse. We will key on both of the Baltas runners. 1-13 with 4-6-11

Race 10

They stick a $12,500 claimer in the second to last leg of the huge pick four in this 7 furlong race. No. 3 Prohibition has a very sneaky last work and could be live. No. 6 Airfoil owns a win over the track and that is a plus. No. 7 He’saruler gets his first start off the Mullins claim, he will be flying late. No. 12 Jes Jaa also owns a win here in his last start and has a big last work. 3-6-7-12

Race 11

Maidens go 1-1/8 on the grass to end this big day of racing. No. 5 Cozmic One was flying late here just missing by 3/4 of a length at a 1-1/16 here last out. No. 7 Taniko gets his first start on the grass an may like it. No. 8 Combat Zone ran a solid race here last out on the grass and gets Prat today. No. 12 Ice Kat comes off the layoff and looks very live. 5-7-8-12
