Maidens go sprinting five furlongs on the grass. No. 3 Sunday Prophet ran a solid second on this five furlong turf course back in August when Kent rode for Hess, he is back on today. No. 4 Little Juanito showed a liking to the downhill Santa Anita turf course and may like this trip. No. 10 New Dancer exits the same race as Little Juanito and had a troubled trip. 3-4-10

Race 2

No. 1 Big League likes this track and comes off a gutty win. No. 4 Burn Me Twice moves up the ladder looking for his 3rd straight win and 3rd here at Del Mar. No. 7 Red Carpet Cat is wheeled back in just six days off a huge effort despite trouble going a mile on the grass. 1-4-7

Race 3

Cal bred $50k maiden 2yo go 6-1/2 furlongs, this is one ugly race. No. 2 Lucky Stash is out of the dam Stash who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters. No. 3 Helen’s Tiger ran a good 3rd here at this level back in August. Trainer Sherlock sends out two runners and the one we prefer is No. 6 Kiss of Dahpespe with Roman riding. 2-3-6

Race 4

2yo maidens go a mile on the grass, anything can happen in this race. No. 9 Infuriated Gary is a first timer for D’Amato and gets Corey Nakatani up. No. 1 Hardboot ran a closing 5th down the hill at Santa Anita and will like the longer trip today. No. 11 Rustic Canyon exits the same race and is the speed. 9-1-11

Race 5

THE $100K DESI ARNAZ AT 7 FURLONGS

This $100k race has a lot to be desired, Richard Baltas sends out two runners in this six horse field. No. 3 Midnight Bisou who exits our HTW list and is a maiden losing by a dwindling nose first out and now gets Bejarano and he also sends out No. 5 Secret Spice off a bullet work. 3-5

Race 6

No. 3 Painting Corners is wheeled back in seven days off a narrow loss here going this five furlong distance for the red hot Peter Miller barn. No. 9 Zero Zee exits the same race and gets his second start here on the West Coast. No. 10 Yuvetsi has run his two best races when Van Dyke rode her, he gets back aboard today. 3-9-10

Race 7

No. 4 Party Hostess just missed last out at this level and distance at Santa Anita and owns a big last work here. No. 8 Princess Dorian exits the same race as the Party Hostess just getting beat by a half length.

Race 8

3yo go a mile on the grass. No. 4 Radio Silence was bet like a good thing in his first try in the states, he will go much better today. No. 8 Hootie exits our HTW list off a very trouble last trip. No. 9 Harbour Master exits a big try vs. better last out. 4-8-9

Race 9

$16k claimers go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Braddock won for a $25k price tag last out at Santa Anita? No. 3 Gentrified ran a good second at this level last out and has a huge last work. No. 8 Make It a Triple is in top form and is a two time winner here.
