No. 1 Two Hail Marys gets off the grass and takes a huge class drop. No. 4 Gringo Star also drops and fits at this level. No. 5 Smuggler Union is another big dropper who is a must use. 1-4-5

Race 3

Optional $62,500 runners go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Allaboutaction has been claimed in his last three starts, he now lands in the barn of Peter Miller who gives him a confident boost in class. No. 5 Conqueror drops a notch and has back-to-back big works for this and owns a win here at Del Mar. No. 6 Horse Greedy comes off a solid try in the Grade 2 San Carlos. No. 7 Graycaster is in tip-top form. 7-6-5-3

Race 4

Optional $100k fillies and mares travel a mile on the grass. No. 6 Vasilika has won 7 of her last 8 starts, she is a win machine but may be overbet in this spot. No. 8 Shy Carmelita is working good off the layoff and her last race at a mile on the turf makes her a contender here. No. 10 Moonless Sky lost by a nostril last out at this turf distance and now gets Bejarano up. 8-10-6

Race 5

$150k maiden 2yo go five furlongs. No. 1 Linemaker is a first-time starter for Richard Baltas who is out of the dam Darling Monique who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters, he gets in with lightweight with Asa Espinoza up. No. 2 Its Gonna Hurt is a first-timer out of the dam Celestial Legend who has dropped 6 winners from 6 starters. No. 5 The Creep is a first-timer for the hot training O’Neill, he has a big time last work. No. 6 Mason Dixon is the stablemate of The Creep and gets Prat. 1-2-5-6

Race 6

Optional $40k fillies and mares travel a mile on the grass. No. 1 Princess Roi is 1 for 1 on this turf course and has never run a bad race, she worked a bullet here on the 17th, she exits a race in which the winner came back to score again next out, no problem off the layoff. No. 4 Libby’s Tail is the stablemate of Princess Roi, she gets her third start on the West Coast, she also worked here on the 17th, we say one of these girls will get the money. 1-4**

Race 7


No. 7 Accelerate just won the Grade 1 Gold Cup and is a three-time winner here including this race last year, we say single, bet him to cash. 7***

Race 8


No. 1 Rockin Ready looks just that as she faces Graded company for the first-time, she never runs a bad race and this is her best trip. No. 2 Ms Bad Behavior is as tough as nails and won the China Doll at this mile turf distance. No. 3 Flammetta is the stablemate of Ms Bad Behavior and the price play. No. 4 Miss Sienna gets her second start in the starts and is the stablemate of Rockin Ready, Mike Smith gets the call. 1-2-3-4

Race 9

Maiden 2yo go five furlongs. No. 4 Dueling gets Asa for his first start and has a big last work, the brothers Desormeaux hook up with No. 7 Synthesis who comes off of back-to-back 3rds and has a big-time bullet last work. No. 10 Rowayton is the stablemate of Dueling and he has a big time last work for his first start.  4-7-10

Race 10

Maiden fillies and mares travel 1-1/16 on the grass, trainer Tom Proctor who has had good success here at Del Mar brings in No. 1 Dearborn from Belmont, we love Van Dyke getting up for him and he has a big last work here on the 17th. No. 4 Ten Count Out is the speed on the stretchout second off the layoff. No. 8 Camino Song was tough enough last year to run in the Juvenile turf here, she has a big last race and looks set for her best. Trainer Victoria Oliver has had success on this circuit with grass runners and she sends out No. 9 Innocent off a near miss last out at this mile turf distance at Churchill. 8**-9*-1-4
