Race 1

$20k claimers go 6-1/2 furlongs and we will start right off with a single using No. 6 Whiskey Ginger on the move up off the nice win last out at Los Al TB. The price will be right with the low profile Chris Russell riding for Paddy Gallagher. This gelding has been working great and owns a win over the track. 6**

Cal bred optional $20k fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 1 Family Girl takes a big class drop off the layoff for Peter Miller but her last work was very good. No. 5 Tribal Dance comes off the layoff for Glatt and looks live. Our key runner in here will be No. 9 Powder on the drop with Franco riding, her last two works say yes. 6**-1-5

Cal bred maiden 2yo go six furlongs. No. 3 Irish Heatwave has the Desormeaux brothers connection. No. 4 Silken Prince is out of the dam Silk Queen who has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters, his last work sizzled. No. 8 Mobou was sent off as the even money favorite in his one start at Santa Anita, he ran 3rd and we think there is more there than his last race. 4**-8-3
