We like it when Joel Rosario comes back to town as he usually comes up with a win or two, he gets on the O’Neill second time starter No. 2 Splashy Kisses, who had a tough first trip. No. 3 True Validity has run third in both of her starts and now gets and extra furlong. No. 6 Enaya Alrabb is the barn mate of Kisses and gets her first start off a good work pattern. 3-6-2

Race 2

$25k runners go 6-1/2 furlongs. Rosario gets on the big Baltas dropper No. 1 Best Two Minutes. No. 8 Lucky Staxx moves up in class off the huge win last out on the 3rd. 1***-8

Race 3

$16k runners go 7 furlongs. No. 1 Roaring Fork is perfectly spotted on the drop and gets the jockey back who was on him for the maiden win going a mile, he will like this distance. No. 6 Latitude comes off a hard fought win but finds little to beat here. 1-6

Race 4

Optional $62,500 runners travel a mile on the grass. No. 1 Afleet Ascent just missed here on opening day in the Oceanside and is the one to beat. No. 3 Secretary At War is in from New York and lands in the Richard Baltas Barn and Rosario gets the call, he is live. 1-3

Race 5

Cal bred maidens go six furlongs. No. 1 Air Jockey has run back-to-back good races. No. 3 Red Envelope just missed first out when battling tooth and nail the entire trip, he is the one to beat. No. 8 Palermo Style is in form the Gate where he ran in opening company, he was sent off as the 2/1 chalk and came running late for second, his work here on the 12th was great! No. 10 Satrapa is the price play off a very good set of works for his debut race. 8**-3-10-1

Race 6

THE $250K GRADE II DEL MAR HANDICAP GOING 1-3/8 ON THE GRASS

Jockey Tyler Gaffalione is in town and will ride No. 7 Multiplier for Peter Miller. No. 10 Ritzy A. P. exits our HTW and is in top form. No. 11 Cashman is in from Germany for Neil Drysdale and is the question mark runner of the race. No. 1 Kenjisstorm is the speed on the rail, Stevens will milk him a long time, he could upset. 1-7-10-11

Race 7

Optional $62,500 runners go six furlongs. No. 6 Stone Hands has been over his head in his last two starts and now get back to the level of his last win and has a good last work, he finds a field loaded with early speed and his style fits here. No. 7 Gato Del Oro gets some big class relief and a turn back in distance and light weight with the bug boy Assael up. 6-7

Race 8

THE $300K GRADE 1 DEL MAR OAKS AT A 1-1/8 ON THE GRASS

No. 4 Ollie’s Candy has run four great races in her four race career including her last when she just missed by a neck in the Grade II San Clemente. No. 6 Paved is back from New York and is on a win every other race pattern and this is her win race. Trainer Motion ships in No. 7 Colonia from Chicago where she won in her first start in the states, Rosario will ride. No. 9 Ms Bad Behavior is in top form and was just a neck behind Ollie last out. No. 12 Animosity had a goofy trip last out  in the San Clemente, look for better today. 4-6-7-9-12

Race 9

2yo maidens go six furlongs. No. 5 Taos is a first time starter out of the dam Golden Velvet who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters. No. 6 Asano takes his first start for the Desormeaux connections, he is very live. No. 8 Dueling ran a solid second first out and now gets Van Dyke riding for Hollendorfer. Rosario gets on No. 10 Game Winner a first timer for Baffert. 6**-8**-5-10

Race 10

THE $1 MILLION GRADE I PACIFIC CLASSIC AT 1-1/

This race is beat No. 5 Accelerate who will be everyones single and will be even money. No. 4 Roman Rosso is in form Argentina for Baffert and we like the 7 furlong work on the 10th and Prat gets rare ride for Mr. B. No. 7 Pavel is back from Churchill for O’Neill where he won the Grade 1 Steven Foster.

Race 11

Optional $40k runners travel a 1-1/16 on the grass. We will take a shot here and key on No. 12 Avalanche as Rosario sticks around for the last race on this long day, his last work says YES! 12
