Top NBA Threesday Plays for April 11: Stephen Curry, Donte DiVincenzo, CJ McCollum

The first name that comes to mind for the “First Three Point Field Goal Scorer” market on April 11 is Warriors G Steph Curry, who offers solid value at +170.

Earlier this week, Curry went 6-for-6 from downtown against the Lakers on April 9, an impressive showing even by his high standards. Curry’s hot hand accounted for just a fraction of the 26 three-pointers the Warriors made as a team in their 134-120 win over Lakers, which is another good reason to bet on him in this game. It also helps that the Warriors face one of the worst teams in the league, the 21-58 Trail Blazers.

Another player to consider is the Knicks’ Donte DiVincenzo, who has taken 51 three-pointers in his last five games. A number of players in New York vs. Boston are worth considering, though, because the Celtics lead the league in 3-point attempts (and are third in 3-point FG percentage), while the Knicks are 13th in the NBA in 3-point attempts per game.

Another enticing option is Pelicans guard CJ McCollum (+320), who has taken 46 three-point attempts in his last four games. McCollum figures to be aggressive again on Thursday night, and another reason this is a strong play is the fact the Kings are third in the NBA with an average of 39 3-point attempts per game.
