If you wanted two great games last week well all you needed to do was watch Ohio State somehow come back to win by a point after spotting Penn State two early TD’s and built an 18 point lead.

Not to be outdone Northwestern for the second straight week had to go into overtime for the win but it was three OT’s this week.

Sunday was maybe the craziest World Series game that we have had in a long time with the Astros beating the Dodgers 13-12 in a game where the total was 7.

With short space because this is the Breeders’ Cup edition we will go right to a few plays for this weekend.

Ohio State -16 at Iowa: No way the Buckeyes can get fired up for this game. Note that the Hawkeyes held Penn State to just 21 points when losing 21-19. A take all the way. IOWA

Virginia Tech -2 at Miami: The Hurricanes have been very lucky to have won their last two games. Their offense is not much and have played UNDER in four straight games. VT has lost just one game and that came vs Clemson. They own a great defense and will shut down the Canes. VT / UNDER

Texas +7 at TCU: Love betting against teams at this stage of the season that suffered their first loss the previous week and TCU fits. The Longhorns improving every week and their defense has gotten very good. They are looking for revenge from last year’s embarrassing loss in Austin 31-9. TEXAS

Wake Forest +14 at Notre Dame: The Irish are in control of their Final Four destiny as they look to run the table. They suffered only one loss 20-19 against Georgia – a game they should have won. Lay it here as they catch the Demon Deacons off big dog win vs. Louisville. NOTRE DAME

Arizona +8 at USC: The Wildcats streaking since new QB took over and on a four game win streak covering 3 of 4. They look for revenge from 48-14 loss in Tucson last year. ARIZONA

Last week: 2-2

Season: 28-24-2

Horse Play

It comes in the fifth race at Del Mar with No. 7 Tweeting who gets her second start off the Bill Spawr claim. She exits our HTW list off a wide trip all the way last out at this mile turf distance just missing the show dough. Gary Stevens looks to get her home on top Wednesday. We will single in the pick five.

See you all this Friday at the free BC seminar in the Palace Station race book at 8:30 a.m. with free coffee and donuts and a special $10k twin Q, be there. You could be walking around lucky and not even know it.
