Manchester City Roster, Injuries, and Betting News
Manchester City have enjoyed one of the best seasons of the Pep Guardiola era, holding off a challenge from Arsenal to win the Premier League and cruising through to the Champions League final.

Last year’s team was dominant but failed to take home the Champions League or FA Cup. Adding Erling Haaland last summer has made an already imposing roster virtually unstoppable. In City’s biggest games against its toughest rivals, they’ve been dominant, and they don’t have any major weaknesses for opponents to exploit.
City also enter the FA Cup final with the benefit of having been able to rest their top players the last couple of weeks, as they clinched the Premier League prior to their match against Chelsea on May 21. Unless rust has accumulated since their May 17 rout of Real Madrid (the last high-stakes match they played), expect a comfortable win for Pep Guardiola’s team.
Injuries
Guardiola will have all his top players available. Defender Nathan Ake missed time late in the season, but was able to play against Brentford in his team’s regular-season finale on May 28.
Manchester United Roster, Injuries, and Betting News
ManU did not contend for this year’s Premier League title, but they were the best team in England after City and Arsenal. Their third-place finish, on 75 points in 38 matches, marked a massive step forward from ’21-22, when they finished sixth with 58 points.
ManU did not boast one of the top attacks in the EPL, scoring just 58 goals. But their 43 goals allowed were tied for the third-fewest, behind only City and Newcastle.
While no one in the league was able to keep up with Guardiola & Co. from start to finish, ManU did impress against the top 4 overall, splitting their two games against both Arsenal and City. While they got a loss and a draw in their EPL battles against Newcastle, ManU were able to beat Eddie Howe’s title for the EFL Cup final.
Manchester United need incredible performances from top players Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Casemiro, as well as the roster as a whole, to have a shot at a win on Saturday.
Injuries
It won’t help United’s chances that they’ll be without center-back Lisandro Martinez and forward Anthony Martial, with winger Antony also unlikely to play.

Man City vs. ManU Prediction: Man City 3, ManU 0
Manchester City have had some close games late in the season, but they’ve won their biggest matches with ease. It’s hard to overstate how impressive City were in the Champions League, routing RB Leipzig in the Round of 16, Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals, and Real Madrid in the semis.
The results of those match-ups make it hard to see City struggling in a match that could allow them to close in on a historic EPL, FA Cup, and Champions League treble.
