No. 4 Bam Bams Lil River and No. 6 Pure Resolution both look live first out for top barns. No. 5 Romolina will be the front speed. We will take a shot with the two first-time starters. 4-6

Race 3

$6,250 fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 8 Smart Rachel drops into a live spot and gets a great post and the price could be right, we will single in the pick five. 8**

Race 4

Calif. bred maiden 2yo go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Whooping Jay is a Reddman Racing first-timer for Doug O’Neill, he is live, Peter Miller sends out the first-timer No. 5 Give Me the Lute. No. 6 Poppy’s C Note has run back-to-back good races with $32k maidens at Del Mar, he moves up in class but that last work was very zippy… 3-5-6

Race 5

$20k maiden’s go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Rocinante ran good in his one start for a $30k price tag, he drops trying to cash, bet him to cash, single all the way. 2***

Race 6

$16k claimers go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Katzumoto broke his maiden here one race back and then was sent a mile at Del Mar, he gets back sprinting so look for better. No. 6 Lucky Pegasus broke his maiden here last year and then was over his head in two starts, he comes off the layoff and finds a good spot. 5-6

Race 7

$20k maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Optimum is a live first-timer for John Sadler vs. little in here. No. 3 Friendly Steve has some good early speed and it will play well vs. these. 2-3

Race 8

$12,500 claimers go a flat mile to change the pace. No. 5 Typhoon Harry drops into a live spot broke his maiden here at this distance one race back, after him pick your poison. 5/all

Race 9

Optional $40k fillies and mares go 5-1/2 furlongs as we get back to the distance of choice at Los Al. No. 2 Kenton Road won at this level sprinting on the grass at Del Mar one race back, she has won on the main. No. 7 Diamondsandpearls exits the Grade 2 Sorrento, she will be odds on. No. 9 Conquest Flatterme is a four-time winner, she gets a good post and will get a piece. 7-9-2
