Race 1

We begin this very lackluster card with Cal bred $50k maiden fillies and mares going the usual distance of 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Dannie Joe comes off the layoff for Mike Puype and has a string of works here. No. 3 Z Z Tiger is the speed but has burned a ton of cash in his 7 races. 2-3

Race 2

$20k maidens go six furlongs. No. 4 Royal Seeker just missed here by less than a length at this level just six days ago. No. 6 Victor’s Show gets off the grass and drops from a straight maiden race and has a nice last work, he can wake up in this spot. 4**-6

Race 3

Starter allowance fillies and mares go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Belle Monte won first off the Peter Miller claim last out and now is in this claim proof spot. No. 5 Lemon Crush gets off the grass and turns back in distance, she will be flying late. 3-5

Race 4

$20k maiden fillies and mares travel a mile. No. 2 Pray for Corday is the speed on the stretchout and gets a break in the weights with the bug boy Assael Espinoza up. No. 6 Peachy also stretches out and will show more early speed today. No. 5 Stella Sweeper looks to be on the improve and will be closing for a piece. 2-6-5

Race 5

This is one sad field of five 2yo fillies running for $100K. No. 1 Kim K gets her second start for Peter Miller after a 5th place finish first out at Del Mar, she showed some good early foot. No. 2 Square Peggy broke her maiden second out and also has some big early speed. No. 5 Naughty Tiger is the filly to beat off her big win last out in the $100k CTBAB at Del Mar, he last work was just drab and she will be odds on.

Race 6

Cal bred $50k maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Buck Duane gets his first start off the Steve Knapp claim, he just missed one race back at this level, this is his race to lose. 3**

Race 7

$12,500 claimers travel a mile. No. 3 Pioneerof the West drops and finds a very soft spot. No. 5 We Go Now just missed vs. better at this distance last out at Del Mar, Maldo will be gunning from the bell.

Race 8

Starter allowance 2yo fillies go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Time for Suzzie gets in this race off her $50k maiden win three races back. No. 4 Missmachupicchu is the speed and looks odds on with these, beat her to cash. No. 5 Midnight Miracle won first off the Hess claim last out but Roman gets the call and he is having a tough meet. 4***-5-3

Race 9

Optional $40k claimers travel six furlongs. No. 1 Catfish Hunter is out of the barn of Phil D’Amato who only runs a few here but they are live, this gelding is on a nice win every other race pattern and this is his win race. No. 7 Lauren’s Ladd gets off the grass, he worked a bullet on the 9th at Santa Anita when best of 109 runners that day going 4 furlongs in :47 flat from the gate. 1-7
