Get ready sports bettors, there’s a ground breaking contest taking sign-ups this week that caters to every type of bettor there is – even for those who don’t bet – with a chance to win something big for nothing, which we all love.

The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has unveiled a SuperContest Satellite Series that will allow bettors from all reaches of the U.S. to participate for a chance to gain free entry into the most prestigious sports handicapping contest in the world. Best of all, it’s free and no trip to Las Vegas is required to participate.

Everyone across the country is invited to visit TheLinemakers.com and download the “Gamblino” mobile phone app and ready themselves for the first in the Satellite Series called March to the Championship. It is tied to the NCAA Tournament where contestants can apply all their handicapping and money management skills.

Not only can the winner of the Satellite Series make a name for themselves nationally within the betting community, but they also win a free entry into the 2015 SuperContest that is worth $1,500.

Last season’s SuperContest winner CH Ballers took home a record $736,000 for first place among the record $2.2 million in prize money given away to the top 35 finishers who showed they were the most consistent at picking five pro football games a week against the spread.

“We’ve seen a tremendous growth in the SuperContest over the past few years because more people from across the country are realizing they can enter the contest and don’t have to live in Nevada,” SuperBook Vice President Jay Kornegay said. “Between social media and publicity through national media, that word has been spread to the masses.

“So for us to take that next step and get a SuperContest winner regularly paid out at over $1 million each year, we needed to take other measures in getting more exposure and that’s how the SuperContest Satellite Series came about,” Kornegay stated. “If we can keep the SuperContest name out there through the spring and summer months, we should be able to set a record number of entries (again) this year.”

That growth was helped immensely by having ESPN the Magazine’s Chad Millman and ESPN’s Bill Simmons regularly talk to listeners and readers about their own weekly selections in the SuperContest. Sports bettors from everywhere are understanding they can use a proxy service to turn their picks in weekly and the only visit to Vegas needed is just for the initial sign-up.

Now in the Satellite Series, they can sign up with their phone and the only visit required is if they win. And did I mention it’s free.

Each contestant of the SuperContest Satellite Series will be given a bankroll of 10,000 points to be played like dollars and it’s up to each contestant to manage their money well enough to show the most profit by the end of the NCAA Tournament. Whoever has the highest point total following the championship game on April 7 will be awarded a free 2015 SuperContest entry.

The winner of the free entry will have to show up in person to claim the prize once SuperContest entries are taken (usually by the end of July) and the Westgate will also comp the bill for two free nights in the hotel.

The SuperContest Satellite Series will also have three other separate contests available that include one for the first half of the MLB season, NHL Playoffs and NBA Playoffs. That’s four different chances before football season begins to gain one of the four free SuperContest entries. No purchase is necessary.

This type of contest is something that has never been offered in Las Vegas history for sports bettors.

We think this is a tremendous opportunity for everyone to try and take a swing for the fences and win big for nothing. Best of luck, and we hope to be taking your picture with Jay Kornegay as the winner of the first Satellite Series contest for the whole world to see.
