Florida State vs. Louisville betting odds are available at sportsbooks ahead of Friday night’s 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The Seminoles were offered as a -2.5 road favorite with a total of 56.5 at BetMGM as of this writing.

Florida State will benefit from extra time to prepare for Louisville QB Malik Cunningham after an early bye last week. Cunningham was the catalyst in Louisville’s 31-23 win at Florida State last year. He accounted for four touchdowns with two coming on the ground and two through the air.

ESPN will have live coverage of this game from Cardinal Stadium. Here is a look at Florida State vs. Louisville odds and a prediction.

Florida State Seminoles (2-0 overall, 1-1 ATS)

Florida State QB Jordan Travis led the Seminoles, who were four-point road dogs at LSU, to a signature 24-23 win at Death Valley two weeks ago.

FSU is a road favorite for the first time under head coach Mike Norvell. The defense is ranked 18th nationally, as it has only allowed 256 yards per game this year. FSU’s defense is strong up the middle and anchored by LBs Tatum Bethune and Karen Deloach. Bethune is tied for the team lead in tackles (11) with DB Renardo Green.

Florida State has the horses to keep Cunningham in check. Louisville’s offensive line play has been inconsistent, and Cunningham is likely to be scrambling a lot on Friday night.

On offense, Travis is also a dual threat for FSU. Wide receivers Ontaria Wilson, Johnny Wilson, and Mycah Pittman are his top targets. Ontaria Wilson leads the team with a pair of TD catches in the first two games. Treshaun Ward is FSU’s leading RB with 176 yards on the ground and two rushing TDs. He’s averaging a stellar 5.9 yards per carry.

Louisville Cardinals (1-1 overall, 1-1 ATS)

The Cardinals will go as far as Cunningham takes them. In the season opener, he failed to account for a TD in a 31-7 loss at Syracuse. The senior QB bounced back in a big way during last week’s 20-14 upset win at UCF. Cunningham rushed for more than a 100 yards including a 43-yard TD in Louisville’s outright victory as a 5.5-point underdog.

Aside from Tyler Hudson, Louisville doesn’t have any receivers that should threaten FSU. RB Tiyon Evans leads the Louisville ground attack with 164 yards and a pair of TDs in the first two games.

Cunningham is the team’s second leading rusher (155 yards) and that doesn’t bode well against a tough FSU defense. The Seminoles are actually better off keeping Cunningham in the pocket, as he’s more likely to beat you with his legs than his arm.

Florida State vs. Louisville Prediction

This is Louisville’s home opener after an up-and-down performance in two road games. Cunningham has yet to throw a TD pass this season.

After coming off an extra week of rest and time to prep for Cunningham, Florida State’s defense will be the difference in this game. The Seminoles exact some revenge over the Cardinals and cover this small point spread in a game that goes under the total.

Our Picks: Seminoles -2.5 (-110), Under 56.5 (-110)
