George “The Engineer” Epstein has achieved the ultimate honor in his craft – entrance into The Poker Players Hall of Fame of The Seniors World Championship of Poker.

Epstein, a contributing columnist to GamingToday, is part of the Class of 2011 inductees that also includes ex-Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and “Super Dave” Davenport of Jackpot, Nev. The selections were announced by another famed GT columnist, Oklahoma Johnny Hale, himself a member of the Hall of Fame. The induction date will be announced later.

George is based in the Los Angeles area where he’s well known for his poker classes.

To now have two members of The Seniors WCOP Hall of Fame writing for us is a feather in our cap and we are fortunate to be able to bring the best in poker knowledge to readers each week.
