I couldn’t possibly list all the Happy Hours in Las Vegas, because there are many, but I can relay which ones I have been a repeat visitor at. I find myself being cheaper than ever as I grow older, but still like to get out and watch baseball games a couple times a week, while maximizing my dollar. Here’s a look at my favorite happy hours in Las Vegas that allow me to eat and drink cheaply while also satisfying my viewing pleasure.
1. Cadillac Ranch at Town Square: From 4 to 8 pm daily they have all their drinks at half price and a list of great food items for $7. They don’t have the baseball package, but they do have DirecTV which gets MLB-TV that goes live to every game and they are happy to turn the volume up as well. I prefer the outdoor patio which is elevated above the entire Town Square surrounded by palm trees. It gives the feeling of being somewhere else totally outside of Las Vegas making it a nice getaway. They also have live music playing four nights a week, inside and outside.
2. PT’s Pub/Sierra Gold: From 3 to 7 pm daily, all their drinks and pizzas are half price. They have purchased the MLB extra-innings package for all their bars making them one of the few in town to do so outside of the sports books. I generally request the MLV Mix channel showing 8 games at once on one TV while getting the best game of the day featured on another. They are conveniently located everywhere throughout the city.
3. Blondie’s Sports Bar at Miracle Mile inside Planet Hollywood: All you can drink beer for $20 from 3 to 6 pm, which is the best deal of anyone on that side of the strip. They have all the packages for every sport and have the games prominently displayed on their dozens of televisions throughout without having to ask. For major pay-per-view events, this is the place to go. They have an all-inclusive fee with a price that varies per event, but the bar is open and food off the menu is laid out to eat at your leisure. They have some of the best chicken wings in town.
