Have we got stadium food for you at Elixir Lounge

My Monday Night Football posse moved to Henderson as we went to the new Elixir Lounge (2920 N. Green Valley Pkwy). We like to keep trying new places around town on Monday Night and then pass on our findings to my loyal readers.

Elixir Lounge is a great place to watch games as they have 14 high definition TVs and one large projection screen. Happy Hour always presents great value and Elixir has daily specials. On football days they have a special menu during the games.

There is nothing better than chowing down on finger foods and stadium items while watching a game. They have several items on the special football menu for just $5.

I started out with an order of their game day soup, which is a beer cheese and bacon. It was hearty and loaded with pieces of bacon. Very enjoyable.

Who doesn’t like going to a game and having a cold one and a stadium brat? Elixir offers a grilled bratwurst, onions and peppers served with a side of fries for just $5. You would pay twice that if you were at the game.

I ordered the cheeseburger sliders with fries. This was a great deal – 3 sliders and fries for $5. Also for $5 is a flat bread pizza with pepperoni that is so good we ordered a second. At $5 you can’t go wrong.

Elixir has 16 oz Miller drafts for $2 or a bucket of 5 Miller, Miller Lite or MGD for $10. For every order of drink specials you get a raffle ticket for prizes they give away during the game. They also offer a full dinner menu.

My buddy Cris and his wife were here a few days earlier and both enjoyed their meals. So we came back to watch Monday Night Football. Cris had the pan roasted bone in pork chops, which he enjoyed, while his wife had the salmon served with a mushroom risotto. The prices on the menu are very reasonable as nothing was over $16.99.

On Friday and Saturday Nights they also have live music beginning at 8 p.m. so this is a great spot to hang out and chill with friends and a few cold ones. I give the Elixir Lounge a rating of 3.25 Forks out of 4.
