DraftKings SGP for NBA Finals Game 2: Heat vs. Nuggets
Same-Game Parlays have become popular for obvious reasons. You have a chance to win more money while risking less. Who doesn’t want to do that?
But, if you are not careful, it is easy to fall into a trap with parlays and same-game parlays. As tempting as adding one more leg and watching your potential payout grow can be, taking a cautious approach (fewer legs) is advisable. Yes, you can win more money with additional legs, but the house has the advantage, which you can minimize by going with fewer legs.
Comparing the odds at some of the top sports betting apps is always advisable, but for this game, we are featuring odds from DraftKings:

NBA Finals: Heat vs. Nuggets Same Game Parlay No. 1
- Jimmy Butler, Under 25.5 points -110
- Under 214.5 points -110
- Same Game Parlay odds: +220
Jimmy Butler has talked about attacking the rim more in Game 2 but talking about it does not mean it will happen (or be effective). He and the rest of the Heat may have better luck doing so at home but not against a solid Nuggets team in Denver. He’ll have a better night than in Game 1, but don’t expect more than 25 from him.
Denver’s defense had the Heat’s number in Game 1. It controlled the pace of the game and allowed the offense to do what it needed to in order to win. We expect a similar night in Game 2, with the Nuggets scoring no more than 110 and the Heat topping out at 100.
A $100 wager will result in a $320 payday, your stake plus $220 in winnings.
NBA Finals: Heat vs. Nuggets Same Game Parlay No. 2
- Nikola Jokic, Over 11.5 assists +105
- Gabe Vincent, 3+ three-pointers +110
- Same Game Parlay odds: +320
Jokic could score 30+ with ease on a nightly basis if he wanted to. But instead, he prefers to get the rest of the team involved. With the playmakers at his disposal, why not? After watching him record 14 assists in Game 1, there is no reason to think he will not post similar numbers in Game 2.
He’s had 11+ assists in eight of his last nine games.
Miami will likely put up a better fight in Game 2. But they will still probably be playing from behind for much of the game, so they’ll want Gabe Vincent to heat up from three-point range as soon as possible. Expect him to get his shots again in Game 2, and as long as he takes 6-10 from behind the arc, he’ll hit three of them.
A $100 wager will result in a $420 payday, your stake plus $320 in winnings.
NBA Finals: Heat vs. Nuggets Same Game Parlay No. 3
- Jimmy Butler, Under 6.5 assists -130
- Nikola Jokic, 1+ blocks -140
- Jamal Murray, 2+ steals +150
- Same Game Parlay odds: +575
Butler averaged 6.1 assists a game against the Celtics and a team-high seven in Game 1. Since he has talked about attacking the rim more in Game 2, we don’t anticipate him trying harder to get the rest of the team involved. So, don’t bank on his assist numbers getting as high as Thursday night.
Jokic does it all for the Nuggets. He’s a scoring machine, a top-notch rebounder, and has been good for at least one block in nine of his last 12 games. If you feel ambitious, he’s had 2+ in three of his last seven games. The odds for 2+ (+320) would push the same-game parlay odds up to (+1200).
Murray has had at least one steal in his last nine games and 13 of Denver’s 16 postseason games. He’s had 2+ in eight games, including five of his previous six. While he only had one Thursday night, it is worth going with 2+ since it has plus money odds (+150) while the price for 1+ is (-270).
