Race 2 — #2 D C Tapit – rainer Mike Mitchell dropped Tapit to the bottom in this 25k maiden claimer and got the easy win, there were no claims in for this one time highly thought of gelding, look for Mitchell to find a good spot for him in his next start and get another win.
Race 4 — #3 Best Plan – Was squeezed off at the start and just lost all shot as jockey Bejarano took hold and never really put any pressure on him. He could rebound in a big way at what will be a good price in his next start.
Race 6 — #7 Kanan Dume – Was last seen running up the track last November at Hollywood Park but came back running today after getting just hammered at the betting windows. Trainer Doug O’Neill must have known what was going on as he claimed him for 25k. $$$
Race 7 — #2 Tanda – Took to the grass like a duck to water and that is what I said would happen as we singled this girl in my daily race selections here on the web. This girl could move up and repeat on the grass.
