Race 5 — #7 Mrs. Card – First time starter out of the low profile Sam Semkin barn (Sam can pop with a long shot), broke slow but settled nicely. She made a big wide run to get to the front in the lane but could not hold off the fast closing winner but was a clear second in what was a very good effort for this 32k maiden claimer. We will take a shot with her next time out.

Race 9 — #4 To Be Devant – Steve Sherman Fairplex invader ran a winning race but just did miss by a nostril on the line but was seven lengths clear of the rest; she will be a solid single next time out. $$$$$
