Race 3 — #4 Sweetsouthernqueen – Was getting her first start off the Dean Greenman claim, son of the legendary Walter Greenman the silver fox. She earned a nice figure when winning her last and ran back to that figure with an easy win here on the move up in class. She has some nice back class and trainer Mike Mitchell knows a good claim when he sees one, taking this filly for $12,500. Look for move up and another score.

Race 6 — #11 Gonelikeahurricane – First time starter for trainer John Shirreffs (Zenyatta), showed good early speed. He dueled tooth and nail the entire trip to barely miss second. Still, was a gusty third and looks to have a ton of upside. We will follow. $$$$$

Race 1 — #1 Stefanelli – First time starter broke slow and to the inside. Got going on the turn and came flying late like a freight train to easily pick up the show dough. This one will get the maiden breaker in start No. 2 with a good break.
