Santa Anita

Race 1 No. 3 HOME SWEET ASPEN: First time starter out of the John Sadler barn was let go at 12-1 and really had no shot against the runaway even money Carla Gaines’ first time starter. This girl did run a super race finishing second in a gutty effort. Will not be a maiden for long. $$$

and

No. 6 PINK BLANKET: Was sent of as the 9-5 chalk against Top Debutante in this 75k maiden claimer. Ran a winning race showing high speed but could not hold off the fast closing winner. She was more than four lengths clear of the rest. Claimed for the big price of 75k by trainer Doug O’Neill for one of his top clients Michael Bello. $$$$$

Race 8 No. 2 RUNFLATOUT: Is named perfectly as this 3yo colt did exactly that. First time starter for trainer John Sadler won clear while in hand and looked like he wanted more. The second place finisher was more than eight lengths clear of the rest of the field. This colt could turn out to be a real good one. We will follow up the ladder.

Race 9 No. 1 ANDINA: Looked best in this race, but the hot riding Talamo just got in a bad spot and had him shuffled back after looking to get through on the inside. That cost her the race. She rallied, but had to come out for room into the stretch, angled back in, got tight but still finished third losing the place by a half length and a nostril. A bad ride resulting in a horrible trip.

Golden Gate

Race 6

No. 4 TEENAGE DANCER: Checked hard into the first turn. Had to swing five wide for room on the second turn and checked again as a riderless horse moved right in front of her. Lost whatever shot she had, but still finished a game third. $$$

and

No. 6 SKY HIGH HATTY: Trainer Hollendorfer has been right on target with these horses he brings in from Florida. This filly kept that going with an easy win. We really want to see her on the grass next time out, if so we will single.

rest in x thanks
