Race 2 — #2 Danzing Tribal – We love to watch a horse find a home on the grass as we did with Tanda and this guy just exploded down the lane for an easy win in this downhill straight maiden grass sprint winning for fun while under a long hold. $$$$$

Race 7 — #7 Blame the Wine –  This very hard knocking Mare drank this group of girls under the table at .50 cents on the dollar. She was claimed by trainer Jerry Hollendorfer so look for the move up and a repeat win at Holly Park or she could show up at the Gate.

Race 7 — #9 A Clever Ten – Broke out and was bumped hard and then was squeezed back, he went between horse trying to make a run down the hill but got caught wide on the turn but still was trying to the very end in what was a much better than looked effort, give this girl a big shot to rebound in her next start dirt or turf. $$$$$

Race 9 — #3 Fantasy Free – Looked to be launching a winning move but got in tight on the turn and was steadied off heels midway on the turn and again past the quarter pole, he then switched to the inside, split horse but just did fail to get the win finishing second by a half length in what was a winning effort, next time with clear sailing. $$$

Race 6 — #4 Lamm – Trainer Mike Mitchell may have been playing a little poker with this guy on the drop in class, he won for fun but Mitchell lost him at the claim box to top Northern Cal trainer Morey so this guy just may be heading for some big races on the grass up North so keep and eagle eye open for him as he could be a good single in the picks.

Race 7 — #8 Radical Idea – Advanced from the rail on the turn but found no room and had to check back but finished in a good rally picking up the place money, this one is ready for graduation. $$$$$

Race 8 — #2 Kelly Leak – Beat Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird last year at Sunland Park, this was a very good prep for this 4yo, look for him in the winners’ circle very soon.
