Race 2 — #2 Jaws N Paws – First time starter broke loose before the start but the outrider caught her and brought her back, this is usually a scratch but not this time as they loaded her in the gate. She broke in back of the pace but came running late picking up the win and paying boxcars and I hope the outrider got a good tip from the owners.

Race 4 — #2 Merrytagio – Hopped at the start and settled wide early and well off the rail, she split horses on the turn and made a big run picking up the place and has the looks of a filly getting the hang of it, she will be very hard to beat next time around.

Race 6 — #10 Primed – Was primed for a big effort today but just could not handle the even money Pincelada. You can circle him and use as a single in your picks next time around.

Race 7 — #7 Daves Pacemaker – Just loved this Avila comebacker and if you would have gone to this website, you would have got this release, a $24.40 winner. Dave was crowded at the start but split horses on the turn, came wide down the lane to get up late on the outside. Look for another big effort at Hollywood.

Race 3 — #7 Victory Check – Don’t miss this long shot special the next time he runs. This first time starter was green as grass but if you watched the race he finally got into stride late and came running like a deer. If he gets a little longer distance give him a big shot at what will be boxcars. $$$$$

Race 6 — #8 Continental Cream – Made a nice late run in this cheap 4k claimer but looks to be rounding into form and sitting on a winning effort.

Race 6 — #9 Chu Shy Shy – Looked to have a good shot in this race at 5-1 off her second place finish last time out but she never ran a step finishing last. She was claimed by top trainer Steven Miyadi for the sneaky For The Boy’s Stable, look for a big run in her first start for these connections. $$$

Race 7 — #3 Cabo Cantina – First time starter may have been best in here but lacked room when she looked ready to make her run, once clear she came home fast losing by a half length.
