Race 2 — #1 Melon Up – First time starter was bet from 6-1 to 3-1 at post; she showed big early speed but just could not hold off the live Mike Mitchell first time starter but she was more than six lengths clear of the third place finisher in this 11 horse field. She will be a very nice single next time out at Hollywood. $$$$$

Race 12 — #5 Harissa – Bobbled at the start and had to go four wide on the turn losing several positions but made a strong late run picking up the place.
