Race 2 — #2 Fly Boy – Was steadied hard when crowded at the start and was far back in this 5½ furlong sprint; he made a strong run splitting horses on the turn and came wide deep into the stretch and was moving like a freight train gaining on the winner with every stride but just could not get there but flew past the winner at the wire. This guy was best in here and will be a very good single next time out.

Race 7 — #1 Ambedeux – Was trying the grass for the first time and this 20k maiden claimer just ran a monster race at 30-1 getting beat down the lane by the odds on R Baze Santa Anita shipper but this filly was two lengths clear of the rest and could pop next time out at a price if left on the grass.
