Race 4 — #1 Fiery Trippi – Took the big plunge in class and just crushed this group of 8k claimers; this gelding was claimed by top Northern California trainer Morey so keep an eye open for this one at the Gate, Morey has a solid record first off the claim.
Race 7 — #3 Shadow of Illinois – Turf sprints are this one’s bread and butter, this hard knocking 10yo gelding still has some racing left in him and he ran big time in this 6 furlong turf sprint despite a ton of trouble; look for him to come back with another big effort on this course and is a must use in the exotics.
