Race 1 — #5 Marquet Rebel – Could not run down the lone speed and odds on Fiery Trippi but made a nice late run picking up the place money. He was claimed by trainer Doug O’Neill who also retained part ownership, this guy will pop next time out so keep an eye out as O’Neill has horses all over the country and he could ship this one out of town.

Race 3 — #2 Squeeze Me Tight – Had a troubled trip as the chalk last time out but she could rebound for her new barn and could be a nice pick up for 16k.

Race 5 — #6 Premier Cru – Trainer Bob Baffert had two horses in this race this guy who pulled off a gutsy win despite getting in a tight spot leaving the second turn paying $11.20 and his stabelmate the even money chalk. When Baffert has two in the same race the longer of the two seem to win so keep that in mind when they get to Del Mar.

Race 7 — #7 Sidepocket Lou – Was steadied when shut off at the start and his race was over, he did spit horses in deep stretch as he wanted to still run but it was way too late. He was claimed by the hot Morey so look for a big jock switch and a big time rebound. $$$$$
