Race 3 — #2 Jaws N’ Paws – Was exiting our HTW list and trying turf for the first time, she was also a top release here on the website as we stated she should really take to the grass. I cringed when she got squeezed at the start but she made a big rally down the lane and won going away paying $6.80. We will keep Jaws on our HTW list and she took to the grass like a duck to water, look for the move up and repeat. $$$$$

Race 3 — #3 If You Knew Susie – Filly has really come to life since stretching out in distance and proved she can handle the grass with this win, she could move up and repeat on the green.

Race 5 — #8 Position A – In this 6 furlong turf sprint he stalked off the rail and made a big four wide run down the lane just missing the place money. Trainer Doug O’Neill claimed this guy for 50k with one thing in mind, the Del Mar grass. He ran good there last year and the astute O’Neill just does not give 50k away and he also kept part ownership. $$$$$
