Race 1 — #2 Megastar – Was another exiting our HTW list and this guy held on with tenacity for the win paying $9.20, we think he can still move on up the ladder going long on the grass as this was a very good field of Allowance turf runners that he beat.

Race 3 — #5 Apt to be Amazing – This horse was claimed off a real nice win by assistant trainer Leandro Mora, but that is not the key, he claimed Amazing for part owner Dennis O’Neill, the brother of Doug, we will watch this one very carefully.

Race 4 — #6 Major Smoke – Broke slow and was far back in this 5½ furlong sprint, once going he came flying down the middle of the stretch and streaked home for the place, Smoke needed this race and will be a very good bet next time out.

Race 4 — #7 Capt. Sparrow – Was listed at 4-1 on the morning line but the first flash he was 7-5, his odds eased up to 3-1 at post time, he made a huge four wide run on the turn and came home like a flash but lost the bob on the line to the game Cajun Gent.

Race 10 — #11 Warrens Rose
