DEL MAR

Race 2 — #5 Position A – Was coming off our HTW list and got the win at 5-1, we are still going to keep this one on our list in hopes that trainer Doug O’Neill will try him once again on the green, we could get another nice price.

Race 3 — #7 Otto Von Voom – There were a lot of bettors who had this guy singled in the late pick four and the pick six and they had to get sick when they saw this race as he was making a winning move when he got blocked off heels and then had to be steadied hard in midstretch and that cost him the race as he got going once again and just did miss by a half a length. Otto was claimed out of this race by the astute Jerry Hollendorfer who will have him spotted for the win next time out. $$$$$

Race 6 — #8 The Unusual One – Was last seen running on Aug. 21 of ’08, he just looked fabulous on the track and he was taking money liked he looked. He ran head-to-head and nose-to-nose the entire 11/16 on the grass only to get nosed as one of three noses on the wire, it was a very tough loss.

Race 7 — #2 Scored – Was last seen running at Del Mar in July of ’09, he was well backed in this comeback start and looks set for a winner effort.

Race 9 — #8 Girlwiththegoldenhoof – Had big early speed while dueling down on the inside when the saddle slipped, she continued to fight it out with a very good ride by jockey Quinonez, she could not hold off the big drop down and the even money favorite but was second best while more than five lengths clear of the rest. She will be a great single next time out.
