SANTA ANITA
RACE 5
No. 3 BLACK TIE’N TAILS: Looked well-spotted in his starter allowance going six furlongs but bobbled and was steadied hard at the start to be dead last in the 10 horse field. Settled down on the inside and made a nice late run to miss the show by ¾ length. No mistakes next out with a good break.
RACE 7
No. 2 ELEUTHEROS: First time starter for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer would have won any other day but he ran into odds-on Hot Sean. Eleutheros ran his race to be a clear second by more than six lengths and will be a solid single next time out. $$$$$
