No. 3 Paradise Woods is out of the dam Wild Forest who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters, she has a big time last work here on the 15th and will also handle an off track. No. 4 Delitefull Lady exits a tough first race and now gets Bejarano riding for Baltas and that is a go sign for this barn. No. 7 Princess Julia comes off a good second here on a fast track going 5-1/2 furlongs missing by a dwindling 3/4 of a length. No. 7 Kenda was well bet first out of the box, she had a troubled trip, she gets Mike Smith today and has a big last work. All and all we will side with 4-7 as the two key players in this wide open 7 horse field. 4-7
First-time in my memory that I have even seen a race carded at Santa Anita for a $6,250 price tag but that is what we have here. No. 1 Madelyn’s Wild Max gets a little drop in class and has handled an off track in the past, he loves this distance. No. 7 Outthink’em splashed home to win by almost five lengths on a wet fast track last out. 1-7
4yo and up starter allowance runners go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Taima the Hawk’s lone win came here on the main at 7 furlongs, he gets off the grass and should handle the off going. No. 5 Aeon exits the same race and his only win also came here on the main. No. 9 Mercer Island is in from Florida via Canada and lands in the barn of Peter Miller and Prat gets the call, he looks very live and is bred for the off going. 9**-2-5
