SIXTYSIX MARGAX: Trainer Mike Chambers had this shipper all hyped to roll. She tossed her head at the start and was steadied. Moved up on the inside while just pulling her jock out of the saddle. Had to steady into the turn and was switched out for room. Made a big four wide run and won going away in a spectacular effort for a 20k claimer.

HOLLADAY ROAD: Was exiting our HTW list. This one time front runner took back to dead last and just sat until the top of the lane. Jockey Gomez let him loose and he cruised home for an eye popping win. We will keep him on our list.

LAST STING: Was stuck on the far outside in this flat mile race on the grass. She chased the pace to the stretch but had to be checked off heels in midstretch. Angled to the inside for some running room and came home with good energy to pick up the place money. Atop notch effort for a filly in great form.

QUEENOFCALIFORNIA: Was squeezed back at the start and taken to the inside. Was caught between horses on the turn, but ran on good energy down the stretch. Finished a close third, well clear of the rest.

RAUSCHENBERG: In this 6½ furlong downhill turf sprint this guy was tenth turning for home. Came out for room and blasted home to finish second in a spectacular late run.

RAESUNBRIDLEDFAITH: Craig Lewis trainee showed a real fondness for this dirt course. Made a five wide run into the stretch and cruised home to win going away by almost four lengths. We look for her to come back and repeat.

GLOBAL DOMINATION: Had the misfortune of running into a Bob Baffert monster in first time starter Fast Bullet, who ran to his name. This guy ran a winning race finishing second more than four lengths clear of the rest. Will be a good single next time out as we will watch several exiting this race. It could turn out to be a key outing. $$$$$

ABSOLUTCAT: Exits the Fast Bullet race. This guy just could not run with Bullet but showed a ton of grit when rallying to get the show dough in a much better than looked effort. Will not be a maiden for long. $$$

STONEWALL JACKSON: Also exits the Fast Bullet race. This guy was coming off a long layoff, but did make a nice late run. May be sent long next time out. If so we will be on him.
