DUBAI CYCLONE: Was far back after breaking slow in this mile turf race for straight maidens, she came swung out into the stretch to make her run and was just flying late but had way to much ground to make up finishing fifth missing second by a length and a half. This filly is sitting on a huge effort maybe at a 1 1/16 on the grass.

LIL SWISS ECHO: Bobbled when squeezed just after the start to be dead last in this 6 ½ furlong down hill turf sprint, she came out leaving the hill but got fanned six wide into the stretch but continued her run missing the place money by a dwindling head, she is sitting on the maiden breaker for trainer Cerin.

CREATIVE WRITER: Broke slow from his rail post and than moved up while tugging jockey Kevin Krigger out of the saddle, he angled out wide into the stretch and got to the front but just failed to hold off the fast closing Kumite who was exiting our HTW list.

LUCKYVIC: This filly is very unlucky to still be a maiden, she ran another big race today despite losing several positions when coming four wide into the stretch, the winner than got away but Vic came back at her losing by less than a length.

SEA JOHN’S SPIRIT: Was between horses in the early going and than again on the turn and into the stretch, she than had to wait off heels in upper stretch until midstretch, she finally got out and made a big late run finishing a clear third. $$$

PANTHERS CLAW: Settled down on the inside in this 1 1/16 route on the dirt and stayed there utill the top of the lane when angled out for the drive, he made a strong late run gaining on the lone speed at the end finishing second some ten lengths better than the rest.

KINGMAN KID: Steadied hard at the start and fell back to last, he came out four wide to the stretch and closed a huge gap late finishing fourth just missing third by a neck in what was a big effort after the bad start. $$$

PIANA MAN: First time starter out of the Steve Sherman barn was sent off at 3/2 and won like 1-9 despite hesitating at the start, once in gear he won on his own by five lengths, this one will repeat and is a good single in the picks next time out.
