TRIBAL JEWEL: Won the first race on opening day with a powerful run down the lane, he has now won three of his four starts here on the dirt with one third and is two for two at this mile distance and he ran  this race like he could have gone longer, he will come back and repeat.

MR. BOSSY PANTS: Looked spotted for the win going down the hill but it was moved to the main and he scratched out, we will be using him as a single the next time he shows up in a similar spot going down the hill where he has won four of seven starts.

TIME TODOUBLEDOWN: Was coming off a long layoff for trainer Peter Miller who does great work with layoff horses, he was bet down to the luke warm favorite and got the win in a good effort battling it out from the bell, Miller will find the right spot for  him next time out and  he could repeat.

GOODBYE CHARLIE: Battled it out tooth and nail from the bell with Time toDoubledown but just could not hold that one off but went game to the end finishing a good second, he will be very tough to beat next time out. $$$

PRESS BARON: Needs a very patient ride but did not get it in this race as he was much too close to the pace, he needs to sit back and make on big late run, let’s give him another shot next time out.

FOREST BOY: Had been working real good and took a big shot with him in this race but he could not run down the 7/5 chalk but was more than four lengths clear of the other nine in this field, Sadler has this one ready for the win and we will single next time out but doubt if we get 5/1  like we did this time. $$$

DELAYED: First time starter for Bob Baffert garnered no action at the windows despite being part owned by his wife Natalie and his buddy Bernie who probably bet a few shackles on him, he finished a solid fourth just missing the place by a half length while well clear of the rest, this guy could pop next time out at a fair price.

JAKOB’S MAGIC: Was looking for the grass but it was moved to the main, he still ran a solid third and will get the win next time out for new connections if he finds a turf race.
